Reflections from the Women’s Getaway: A Time of Bonding and Renewal
From August 1st to 3rd, the women of our church community gathered in Homestead, FL, for a much-anticipated Women’s Getaway. This special retreat offered a wonderful opportunity for fellowship, reflection, and spiritual rejuvenation, setting the stage for the upcoming Women of the Word (WOW) Conference.
The serene and beautiful setting in Homestead provided the perfect backdrop for our activities, which were thoughtfully designed to foster connection and personal growth. Throughout the getaway, the women participated in a variety of sessions and workshops that encouraged deep discussions, prayer, and shared stories of faith and life experiences.
As we laughed, cried, and prayed together, it became clear that these moments away from the daily grind were not just a pause but a vital preparation for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead, particularly as we approach the WOW Conference. The energy and unity experienced during this getaway have invigorated all attendees, filling us with anticipation and eagerness for what we will accomplish together next.
